Questions about the ramifications of this week's failure of the online testing platform for TNReady and the move to pencil and paper?

Read this FAQ from the Department of Education.

"We were disappointed in the failure of TNReady. We were really hopeful the technology was in place to move the state to the next phase of testing, but we heard from teachers statewide of problems. At this point, I am not sure of the validity or reliability of test results. Certainly this is going to require discussion on the significance of this failure and the consequences for teachers and students moving forward."
- Dr. JC Bowman, Executive Director
