2018 Tennessee Financial Literacy Summits

This professional development opportunity offered by the Tennessee Financial Literacy Commission (a program of the Tennessee Department of the Treasury) is part of a series of Summits being presented by the TFLC for teachers around the state. Nearly 4,000 Tennessee teachers have attended these summits and have learned to incorporate financial literacy curriculum into regular classroom instruction.

Saturday, February 10th   Columbia State Community College

Saturday, February 24th     Lipscomb University (Nashville)


Saturday, March 3rd      Pellissippi State Community College (Knoxville)

First-time participants will receive a $50 Amazon gift card upon completion of a post summit survey, plus a free set of curriculum & materials for your classroom.


All educators who attend will receive:

  • Training in the nationally-recognized Financial Fitness for LifeĀ® curriculum developed by the Council for Economic Education

  • A certificate of completion that can be used for professional education credits as permitted by their respective school district

  • A special presentation by a RetireReadyTN representative and the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about your retirement plan and steps you can take toward your retirement planning
